What a Day!
It's a beautiful ski day and it's shaping up to be a wonderful weekend. Blue skies. Wintery temps. It's a real winter wonderland in the Valley of Snow. We've recevied over 20cm of snow in the past couple days. Conditions are excellent on 13 trails. Orchard Park opened today and the top portion of Boardercross will open on Saturday. The lower section still needs some more snowmaking. We're making snow on Explosion, Moguls and Aerials right now. We hope to have the freestyle terrain open mid-week. We still need some more snow to open South Side trails, Chickadee and TBar, but its getting close. We have great entertainment line up in Ducky's with Big Fish Friday night and Saturday Apres Ski. Salomon is here for a demo on Saturday, Masters races both days at noon, Snow School BBQ both days and Snowboard NS hosts a slopestyle on Sunday. Lots happening and great conditions!
